‘The Worst Signing’ – Manchester United Fans Fume at Mason Mount’s Performance After Missed Goal from Six Yards

During Manchester United’s friendly encounter against Lens, Mason Mount missed an easy goal from barely six yards away, angering the crowd.

The Red Devils’ final match before the start of the Premier League season took place on Saturday with Lens in attendance at Old Trafford.

Against Lens, Mason Mount had a huge opportunity that he missed.

Mount had a six-yard opportunity but was stopped by a beat keeper.

He stumbled when he reached for a ball that was slightly behind him.

Rasmus Hojlund, a new £72 million acquisition, was also introduced in front of the Man Utd supporters prior to the game.

However, Erik ten Hag’s side’s situation did not start out well because Mount blew a HUGE opportunity.

Alejandro Garnacho received a lovely cross-field pass from Bruno Fernandes that he ran on to.

After that, Garnacho sent the ball to Mount as Lens goalkeeper Brice Samba made a mistake.

Although the pass was played a little behind Mount, he was unable to shift his body to it.

And the Ligue 1 team was able to clear the ball, so he made bad touch with it.

One Manchester United supporter commented on the tape by saying, “Mason Mount just missed an absolute sitter.”

“Get Mason Mount out of my football club immediately,” said another.

“Mason Mount just made my heart skip a beat,” a third person retorted.

“Mason Mount, we just lost one of United’s best goals in recent years,” said a fourth.

One more added, “Broooo Chelsea has conned us!! that Mason Mount neglect [].

And yet another added: “Thats the worst miss I’ve ever seen in my life by Mason Mount ☠️🤣🤣☠️.”
