Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said Benjamin Pavard wanted to leave Bayern Munich and chose Man United as the ideal destination.
The Red Devils are currently preparing to sell Harry Maguire to West Ham, forcing Ten Hag to find a replacement soon. Jean-Clair Todibo, Edmond Tapsoba or, most recently, Benjamin Pavard have been linked with the Old Trafford team.
Bayern is said to want to receive 30 million euros when selling the World Cup champion. This number is clearly reasonable compared to Pavard’s talent. His personality is also very popular with Ten Hag.
Fabrizio Romano said: “Benjamin Pavard, open to leaving Bayern this summer and keen on Manchester United move. He’d love to join the club and try Premier League experience
Ten Hag will decide soon fav option between Pavard and Todibo; backup option, Tapsoba.”
In terms of class, Pavard is much clearer than Todibo or Tapsoba. The 27-year-old French player is also versatile when he can play well at right back and central defender. He can completely compete with Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane or both Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
