Sharing with Rio Ferdinand on TNT Sports, Declan Rice admired his new teammate after a few training sessions in the US.

Having just arrived at Arsenal, Declan Rice was surprised by some of his new teammates. Accordingly, in a sharing session with Rio Ferdinand on TNT Sports, the British star expressed surprise for Gabriel Martinelli.

Specifically, witnessing what Martinelli showed on the training ground, Rice expressed:

“He’s so sharp, honestly. Saka is sharp but Martinelli, he’s faster. Them two on the wings is frightening,” he added when asked about Bukayo Saka

Martinelli and Saka both contributed to Arsenal’s first 3 points in the 2023/24 Premier League against Nottingham Forest. The moment of turning Martinelli’s assist compass helped Eddie Nketiah open the scoring.

A few minutes later, Saka shot a shot outside the box to double the lead for the host club. Both are in the group of high-class stars compared to the wingers West Ham United owned last season.

Therefore, it is not surprising if Rice admires the quality of the two new teammates at Emirates.
