Real Madrid’s metronomic midfielder Toni Kroos has always been known for bringing moments of calm amid the mayhem.

The German has been referred to as the club’s most important asset since his signing in 2014, and despite rumors that he might eventually go after last season, his decision to stay in the Spanish capital caused the Merengues to exhale in relief.

During Real Madrid’s most recent La Liga campaign, Kroos contributed to six goals. The number is even more astounding given that he played defensive midfielder for a significant portion of the season.

He discussed topics relating to Los Blancos and his passion for the club where he has played on his Einfach Mal Luppen podcast.

Money is not the motivation.

The German pass master, who asserts that material wealth is not what motivates him and that he would accept a wage reduction if his club required it, unquestionably personifies the values of the Royal Whites.

When you’re a Madridista, it’s not about the money, he remarked, therefore if he had to cut his income, he would do it without hesitation.

Given that Kroos has a ten-year contract with Real Madrid, it should come as no surprise that he would go above and beyond for his team.

Praise for Fede Valverde

Like Kroos, Federico Valverde arrived with great goals and high standards. The Uruguayan has publicly stated that Kroos is his hero.

Now, Kroos used the chance to commend his criminal accomplice, saying:

“I recall that he originally joined us during the 2018–2019 preseason in the USA. Because I am his idol, our physiotherapist requested me to help him out a little. I knew he was a good man the moment I met him. very subdued and modest.

Given the 25-year-old’s remarkable rise since 2021–2022, when the South American provided the game-winning assist in the Champions League final, it is not difficult to see why Kroos has constantly given Valverde his roses on public platforms. But aside from his prowess on the field, Kroos hasn’t forgotten about his positive personal qualities.
