According to reports, the Manchester United player Antony will now be accused of domestic abuse against his ex-wife in England.
The legal representatives of Gabriela Cavallin, a well-known DJ and influencer who has since split up with the footballer, are reportedly ready to lodge a police report against the player in England, where he currently resides. This is according to the Brazilian daily UOL.
Cavallin is believed to have experienced hostility and threats while residing in Manchester. Cavallin reported similar charges against Antony in Brazil back in June.
UOL claim they have seen a 70-page document from Cavallin’s representatives, which features evidence of alleged abusive behaviour and aggression carried out by Antony against the DJ.
The Brazilian report cites Cavallin’s lawyer, Vanessa Souza, who is said to claim that the Manchester United player could face as many as three different crimes in England.
Manchester United winger Antony is reportedly going to face a fresh set of allegations in a police report filed by his ex-wife in England, following on from an investigation in Brazil
Cavallin accused Antony of domestic violence and said she was a ‘prisoner in her own home’
Domestic abuse with the displacement of the breast prosthesis and the injuries to the fingers, along with the sending of threatening texts and the fact that he locked her in the house, are activities defined as three different offences in England, according to Souza.
She said, “I was asked to represent Gabriela’s interests with the Crown Prosecution Service (England prosecutors) and the Manchester Police. I was approached through Gabriela’s lawyers in Brazil.
‘I initiated contact with the legal sector of Antony’s team and they were surprised. They are very respectful these British bodies and treat it very seriously.’
Cavallin claims she still has trouble sleeping follow the alleged behaviour of the footballer.
Antony remains under investigation in Brazil.
Back in June, Antony spoke out for the first time since Cavallin accused him of domestic violence and making threats.
Cavallin first filed a report with police in Brazil in that same month, alleging ‘domestic violence, threat and bodily injury’ against the winger.
She made further allegations in a television interview on Record TV, saying she struggled to breath after ‘he held me by both arms, threw me on the bed and fell on top of me.’

Antony posted a statement in Portuguese on Instagram in June as he stressed his innocence
Cavallin said she needed to have stitches in the inner part of her breast following the incident. Cavallin also alleged Antony didn’t allow her to leave their home.
The player later responded with a statement on his Instagram account, saying he was ‘falsely accused’ and had been ‘suffering in silence’ as investigations continue.
He wrote: ‘For you, after submitting my statement at the police station where the investigation involving my name is being conducted, I wanted to speak publicly for the first time since I was falsely accused of assault.
‘I stayed silent until this moment so that nothing could interfere with the investigation process, but during all these days my family and I suffered in silence.
‘Despite being born and raised in a very needy community, I have never been through a situation similar to this, in which a false assault charge resulted in a preliminary and unfair public judgement on the part of some.
‘After the closure of the investigation, my innocence will certainly be proven and justice will prevail. The damage initially caused to my image will be in the past.
‘Thank you for the countless messages of support received at this very difficult time.’
United, who signed Antony from Dutch club Ajax for £87million last year, previously declined to comment on the allegations but have been understood to be investigating the matter.

Cavallin, a DJ and influencer, filed a police report in Brazil in June and then spoke out on TV
Cavallin said she needed stitches to her breast after Antony allegedly injured her
In the interview with Brazil’s Record TV, Cavallin told journalist Roberto Cabrini that she had first suffered the alleged abuse last year in Brazil.
‘He threw water on me, started kicking me, grabbed me by the hair, butted my head and made a cut,’ Cavallin said.
‘He held me by both arms, threw me on the bed and fell on top of me.
‘At that, my silicone prosthesis dislocated. At the time, it gave me such a shortness of breath that it looked like I was going to die.’
Cavallin had also claimed that Antony had made her a prisoner in their home and not allowed her to leave.
‘He broke my suitcase, took my handbag, my passport. He broke my mobile phone, he wouldn’t let me go,’ Cavallin said. ‘I was a prisoner from 10pm to almost 3.30am. I call it private captivity. I just wanted to get out of there and he told me that I wouldn’t leave until I erased everything.
‘I think his mother called his physiotherapist and asked for help. No one could control it.’
