Ronaldo has scored 20 goals in 26 games since joining Al Nassr at the end of last season.

The 2017 Saudi Pro League season began with his team losing consecutive games to Al-Ettifaq and Al-Taawoun, and as a result, they are currently 15th in the rankings.

They overturned a 2-1 deficit, though, to upset Shabab Al-Ahli of Dubai 4-2 and earn a spot in the AFC Champions League group stages.

With his 10th goal in seven games, Lionel Messi, a longstanding rival of Cristiano Ronaldo, helped Inter Miami win the Leagues Cup on Sunday.
