David Beckham has shown that he is willing to take his time when it comes to finding players for Inter Miami, and after being spotted with another star of the Spanish game, it has been speculated that he would be up to it again.
Before the legendary Argentine ultimately settled in Miami, they courted Lionel Messi for a number of years. However, he has recently been spotted with a Real Madrid player. According to Caught Offside, Beckham and Luka Modric were photographed together on the Croatian island of Sipan. They wonder if he’ll be the next to move from Spain to South Beach.
With Real Madrid, Modric has resumed playing, though not as frequently as he had wanted. The Croatian has reportedly been advised by Carlo Ancelotti that his position will be diminished this season after previously playing second fiddle to players like Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga.
On the other hand, even if it were next season, Inter Miami would likely need to make a number of changes in order to bring Modric. With the arrival of Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets, Miami has exhausted all of its options for designated players. Most likely, one would have to depart to make room for Modric to arrive, however, as with Messi, some rule-bending is undoubtedly necessary.
