The 25-year-old has been recovering from the injury and had initial medical tests on the issue last week.

It is understood United want to test the severity of the setback before giving the green light for the move.

Another added: “What’s up with us and signing injured players?”

A third fan also wrote: “Adding to our injury list.”

Meanwhile, one more fumed: “Not again! Turning Old Trafford into a triage.”

Summer signing Rasmus Hojlund also joined the club with an injury and has yet to make his United debut.

Bayindir is allegedly in Manchester this week to settle the details of his full physical.

The player is need to submit to testing once a fee has been agreed upon with Fenerbahce.

He would replace current backup Dean Henderson as Andre Onana’s backup since Henderson is anticipated to leave the Red Devils.

Henderson has attracted interest from many Premier League teams this summer, including Crystal Palace.
