After being benched against Arsenal, JADON SANCHO got into a verbal altercation with Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United.
The winger’s manager attributed his exclusion from United’s traveling team for the 3-1 loss at the Emirates on “performances in training.”
According to Jadon Sancho, he has been used as a “scapegoat.”
Sancho responded by writing on social media that he would not put up with individuals stating things that were totally false and that he had behaved admirably this week in training.
I feel there are further factors at play, but I won’t discuss them because I’ve unfairly served as the scapegoat for so long.
“All I want to do is cheer when I play football and help my team out.
I play alongside wonderful players and am grateful to be able to do so, even if I am aware that it presents challenges each and every week. I respect all decisions made by the coaching staff.
I won’t give up until I get this badge, no matter what.
Jadon Sancho published his letter on social media.
Sancho, 23, transferred from Borussia Dortmund to United in 2021 for a fee of £73 million.
He had a mixed record in Manchester with 12 goals in 82 matches.
Along with Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho, Sancho is vying for a berth on the wing this year.
In addition, he has appeared in all three of United’s Premier League games off the bench.
So when the England international was not selected as a replacement against Arsenal, questions were raised.
However, Ten Hag remarked: “We didn’t choose Jadon due of his training accomplishments.
“At Manchester United, you have to perform at a specific level each and every day, and we can choose who plays in the front line. He was therefore not chosen for this game.
Ten Hag eliminated Sancho right before boarding the bus
SunSport columnist Piers Morgan has even offered Sancho the chance to go on his TalkTV show uncensored to speak out further.
Arsenal fan Morgan tweeted: “Hi Jadon, come on @PiersUncensored and I’ll get you out of this Ten Hag nightmare.”
Piers Morgan took the opportunity to send an invitation to Sancho
