Mohamed Salah, a forward for Liverpool, has been shortlisted for the 2023 Ballon d’Or.
The final 30 nominees for the prize were announced on Wednesday night, and the Egyptian was one of them.
Journalists from FIFA’s top 100 member countries vote for the winner of the award, which will be given to the world’s finest player for the 2022–23 season.
The winner will be revealed on October 30 at the Ballon d’Or event in Paris.
