LAFC Sends Five Players on International Duty This Week

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is seeking to get back on track after a tough 3-1 loss to Inter Miami on September 3 by defeating Western Conference opponent Portland Timbers on September 9 in The Rose City.

 

The Black and Gold will be missing their top scorer Denis Bouanga and four other players who are out competing for their respective countries. On September 9, Bouanga will be playing for the Gabon National Team in their African Cup of Nations encounter against Mauritania.

Other LAFC players who will be unavailable due to international duty include:

Croatian Under-21 star Stipe Biuk.

              Sept. 12: against. Faroe Islands, U-21 Euro 2025 Qualifying Match, Klaksvik, Faroe Islands

Honduran Denil Maldonado

              Kingston, Jamaica, September 8th vs. Jamaica

              Against Grenada, at Tegucigalpa on September 12

Uruguayan forward Cristian Olivera.

              Montevideo, 8 September, vs. Chile

              Against Ecuador, at Quito on September 12

Mexico’s Under-20 star Christian Torres.
