The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today that they had brought in two players from LAFC2 on short-term contracts: striker Yekeson Subah and defender Lorenzo Dellavalle.
Short-term contracts enable teams to borrow players from their affiliate to use in Major League Soccer, the U.S. Open Cup, the CONCACAF Champions League, the Canadian Championship, and exhibition games.
Subah, who is just 19, has scored three goals in 977 minutes for LAFC2 in 20 games (ten starts). On June 13 vs Sporting KC at Children’s Mercy Park, Subah played 13 minutes in his first Major League Soccer game. Subah has played in three games (two starts) for LAFC in 2023. Two of those games were in the U.S. Open Cup.
.
Dellavalle, 19, has played 69 minutes in one game for LAFC2 this season after joining the club from Serie A side Juventus on August 4.
Forward Yekeson Subah and center back Lorenzo Dellavalle have signed short-term contracts with LAFC.
