Greg Vanney will still be in charge of all soccer operations for the Galaxy. Will Kuntz, the senior vice president of player management, will help him. The Galaxy haven’t had a president since May, when a fan boycott led to the firing of Chris Klein, the team’s CEO for the last 11 seasons.

Dan Beckerman, president and CEO of AEG, the company that owns the Galaxy, said in a statement, “We are excited to formalize this new structure, which will give key members of our proven leadership team with the Galaxy a tremendous opportunity.” “We are sure that [Braun] will improve our internal culture and lead our business operations in new and creative ways that will help them move forward strategically.”

Braun will be in charge of all of Galaxy’s day-to-day business operations in his new job. He will answer directly to Beckerman. Braun joined AEG in 2013 and has been with the club since 2015. Since 2015, he has been the senior vice president of soccer and business operations and business growth.

In that job, he was in charge of the first Soccer Champions Tour, which took place in 2022. It was a record-breaking nine-day, four-city summer tour with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Club América, and Chivas de Guadalajara, some of the most famous soccer teams in the world.
