Ousmane Dembele finished a somewhat contentious transfer to Paris Saint-Germain last month. His €50 million release clause was exercised by the French champions, much to the chagrin of his former club Barcelona.
Upon his arrival, Dembele was met with high hopes, especially in light of the form he had displayed in Catalonia over the previous 12 months. He has had a challenging start, though, going without a goal or an assist in each of his first five PSG games.
This has reportedly spurred PSG to consider letting Dembele depart, according to Daily Mirror (via MD). According to reports, they are willing to let the 26-year-old leave on loan to West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal in January.
Although PSG has many other attacking options than Dembele, it would be insane for them to actually let him to leave the team. Barcelona will be keeping an eye on the situation, nonetheless, with some amusement given how Dembele left.
