Stephen Curry, an NBA superstar, and his family live in a $9 million mansion.
The 2019 relocation of the Golden State Warriors from Oakland to San Francisco made it impossible for point guard Stephen Curry to continue living in the East Bay. The NBA player and his wife Ayesha have put their massive mansion on the market again.
The current owner, Sam Hirbod, claims that the $6.4 million estate in the Alamo suburb was completed in 2018 and sold in an off-market transaction the following year. After three years, the price of Curry’s old house has risen to $8.9 million.
The Currys’ mansion has eight and a half bathrooms, six bedrooms, and sits on over half an acre of land. Create a unique playhouse for their kids, a home theater for Stephanie, a garden for Ayesha.
The couple hired Stephen Kubitschek to oversee the construction of their house. There are two fireplaces and heated Italian oak flooring in the 8,163 square foot living area that contribute to the ultra-contemporary vibe. The ceilings reach a lofty 30 feet in height.
As with many modern dwellings, the design prioritizes interaction between the indoors and outdoors. The living room opens out into the backyard, where there is a cabana, a saltwater infinity pool, a pizza oven, a smoker, and a barbeque.
In addition, numerous luxurious extras befitting a basketball king. Hirbod claims that Steph spent $500,000 on the state-of-the-art projector and sound system in the media room.
Since Ayesha is quite the gourmet, her kitchen features two islands, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, and tasteful European-style cabinets. There is space for seven automobiles in the attached garage.
The master suite is situated on the second floor, away from the busyness of the guest and children’s wings. If you thought the old Curry suite was lavish, wait until you see the 1,160 square foot patio and three separate walk-in closets. If you’ve ever dreamed of playing at the highest level of sports, now is your chance.
