Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt retired. He won several Olympic gold medals and set several 100-, 200-, and relay records. In 2022, the eleven-time World Champion and eight-time Olympic gold medalist who owns a $2 million penthouse was worth $90 million. Like being the fastest on the track, he loves cars. Usain Bolt was one of the world’s highest-paid athletes.
My Story: 9:58: The World’s Fastest Man, written with Shaun Custis, was Bolt’s 2010 memoir. It was expanded and republished as The Fastest Man Alive: Usain Bolt’s True Story in 2012. His $90 million net worth allows him to buy several fast cars. List of the fastest man’s best and fastest cars:
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2017
Bolt reportedly paid nearly $285,000. Given that a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited MSRP was $42,945, he spent a lot on customization. His Jeep also has 22-inch forged alloy wheels and 3-inch full fox suspension. The interior has Jamaican flag-colored leather upholstery and the exterior is matte black.
2008 BMW M3
Puma gave Usain Bolt the navy blue 2008 BMW M3. At the time, the full-fledged M cost $56,500. Just weeks after buying the car, he crashed it, but only suffered minor injuries. He crashed his car again after a party a few years later.
His M3 crashed twice in a short time, showing that the young athlete couldn’t handle BMW’s high-performance M car.
2012 Nissan GT-R Bolt Special
Usain Bolt was signed by Nissan in 2012 to promote the GT-R, a high-performance sports car. The corporation made three gold GT-Rs, one of which was auctioned for Bolt’s charity. The second was given to him while the third is in Japan.
The limited edition GT-R’s MSRP is unknown, but a 2012 model year GT-R with comparable specs cost $149,990.
California Ferrari
Usain Bolt bought a silver Ferrari California car in 2009 after breaking the 100- and 200-meter sprint records. He bought his first car with his own money, a $196,450 Ferrari. His first car was a BMW M3 from his sponsor. Bolt’s Ferrari California has a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine.
Ferrari F430 Spider
Bolt’s love of Ferrari is unmatched, and the F430 is another Ferrari in his garage. By coincidence, the F430 preceded the 458 Italia. Ferrari discontinued this model in 2009 after its 2004 Paris Motor Show debut. The F430 Spider was expected to start at $244,343 in 2009. Ferrari F430 Spiders have 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 engines.
Ferrari’s V8 engine produces 490 horsepower and 343 lb-ft with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Ferrari claims the F430 Challenge can reach 198 MPH and accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH in 3.0 seconds.
