A HISTORIC photo of Jordan Henderson has been removed from Liverpool’s training ground following his move to Saudi Arabia.
The 33-year-old ex-skipper controversially jumped ship for the riches of the Middle East in July following a 12-year Anfield spell.

Henderson penned a deal with Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq despite criticism over Saudi Arabian laws criminalising same-sex partnerships.
He was still called up by Gareth Southgate to the latest England squad and claimed he joined Al-Ettifaq after falling out of favour at Liverpool.
The Reds appear to be moving on after removing a photo of Henderson from their training base showing the midfielder lifting the 2019/20 Premier League title.
Henderson featured 30 times that season and captained the side as the Reds stormed to top spot.
The Liverpool Echo claims a large print-out of that memory has now been taken down at the club’s training ground.

And it appears from the decision to switch photos that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are eager to advance into a new era.

As for Henderson, he’s already played six times for his new side and no player has registered more assists in the Saudi Pro League than Jordan Henderson.
