The Red Devils completely controlled the match and continuously put pressure on Crystal Palace. In the 12th minute, Rasmus Hojlund lifted the ball past goalkeeper Johnstone, but could not bring home a goal when the away team’s defender promptly retreated to clear the ball on the goal line.
