Efficiency meets elegance: Discover the sustainable luxury of the superyacht concept

It is clear that the most recent superyacht idea created by Gill Schmid Design in association with Lateral Naval Architects is a magnificent boat that cannot be disregarded. This hybrid yacht is 213 feet long and has a genuinely distinctive appearance made up of substantial reflective glass panels.

The formal saloon and dining room layout prevalent in standard superyachts is not followed in the interior design of See. Instead, it has a more relaxed, open-plan design with 1,670 GT worth of convertible areas. Transformers serve as an inspiration for the idea, which translates its adaptability into an architectural environment.

Each of the six guest houses on the yacht is next to a pool or a jacuzzi, making for a comfortable and restful stay. The upper deck’s owner’s suite, which spans the whole 40-foot beam and provides a roomy and private hideaway, is located there. In addition, See has enough room for up to 17 crew members.

See is equipped with a sizable kitchen, common tables, and a nearby lounge, making it ideal for parties. It features a raw bar for aspiring chefs as well as a sushi bar and an outside grill area. The boat is outfitted with hydroponic tanks for producing fruits and vegetables, a fermentation chamber, and even a mushroom laboratory, so visitors may enjoy the freshest products while on board.

The amenities onboard See are comparable to those of a five-star hotel. The focal point of the main patio is an infinity pool with a glass bottom. A jacuzzi and sun loungers surround it, making for a lovely and photogenic experience. A shaded pool lounge and bar are located in another area of the terrace, which is ideal for enjoying happy hour. A retractable glass wall in the foredeck saloon makes it unique since it can be converted from an outdoor theater to an oceanfront terrace. The exquisite setting is enhanced with a leisure and wellness area that includes a sauna, steam room, exercise center, and another infinity pool. The yacht is also furnished with a variety of accessories and toys.

The efficiency of See’s Lateral E-Hybrid propulsion system, which allows for a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 3,750 nautical miles, is impressive. It has batteries that can keep the yacht running for three peaceful hours of sailing and six to eight hours at anchor. This maintains harmony between sustainability and performance.
