F1 champion Lewis Hamilton presents the mesmerizing Mercedes-AMG One

Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time Formula One world winner, will soon have a Mercedes-AMG One in his garage. For now, though, he’s just giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming supercar. Because this car is so crazy, I’ll take any look I can get.

Even though the film is short, it shows some beautiful footage of the cockpit, complete with an F1-style steering wheel. Hamilton also gives his best brand ambassador speech about how comfortable the car is. The AMG One will definitely be a lot more comfortable than a real F1 car, but I don’t think it will be fun to drive for long journeys. That is not at all an attack on the One.

The AMG One is a big deal for the German automaker, and it also marks the start of the E Performance business. In December, Hamilton announced the division and said that the One would be the flagship car for the new company. Really, this is a great way to do it. The Mercedes-AMG F1 race car’s turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 engine is in the One, and it should make at least 1,000 horsepower. The car is a celebration of the brand’s success in Formula One, and 275 people are being asked to join the company in its joy.

That being said, the car is already gone. To take part, you need to have $2.72 million, even if a spot opens up. Because of this, not cheap. I won’t be able to drive it until Hamilton does because I don’t have $25 million hidden in the couch pillows.
