The Toluca Lake home of Ziggy Marley in the Spanish Colonial era The Spanish Colonial home that Ziggy Marley lived in in Toluca Lake. The musician, his wife Orly Marley, and their four children are building a house next door in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles.
Farahan finally found them a Spanish Colonial home with 10,000 square feet of space in L.A.’s Toluca Lake area that was perfect for the famous couple and their four young children. But for Marley, it wasn’t how nice the house looked that sealed the deal. It was an unspoken feeling that it would be a good place to raise his kids. If you ask Marley, whose newest record just came out, “It’s not about how it looks or how many bedrooms; it’s how it feels,” he will tell you. “I liked how the house made me feel.” Farahan does point out, though, that Marley also wanted to make sure that the weather was good for him. According to Farahan, “He asked me about the weather because he had never lived in the San Fernando Valley.” I told him that the winds were just as nice here as they were on the other side of the slope.
