The Chalet, a famous residence in the United Kingdom that was formerly a fishing lodge in Norway, gained notoriety after its Netflix series.

Even though  Education on Netflix is currently in its fourth and final season, viewers can now own a portion of the program’s past. For £1.5 million, to put it roughly at $1.8 million.

The actual house that served as the home for Asa Butterfield’s character, Otis Milburn, a young gender therapist, and Gillian Anderson’s character, Jean Milburn, a gender therapist, is for sale. Dubbed an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Chalet is a lovely house in the United Kingdom situated on four and a half lush acres in Symonds Yat in the Wye Valley, which is directly on the border between Wales and England.

The red and white home was constructed as a fishing lodge in the Norwegian style in 1912, before it appeared on the beloved British series. The hillside pad was acquired by the present owner in 2002, more than 20 years ago, and extensive renovations have since been completed. The 3,100 square foot home has three bathrooms and five bedrooms in total. A new roof, newly installed electrical and plumbing systems, and a specially painted kitchen are some of the more recent improvements. Additionally, the conservatory has been expanded.

In a press release, James Toogood, head of Knight Frank Bristol’s office, states, “The fact that this property is so well-known only adds to the appeal of what is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a spectacular home.”

The property includes a summer cottage, an orchard, and two greenhouses in addition to the lovely house. According to marketing materials, there is a historic chapel at the top of the driveway that can be purchased through separate agreement.

There are plenty of spots for those who would want to read the paper outside on the terrace like the mother-son gender therapist team or have morning coffee. A stone pizza oven and a Swedish wood-burning tub may be found on two of the lower decks. The breathtaking views of the rivers have also not been altered for the TV series.
