Suarez, 36, proved his eye for the spectacular finish has not gone anywhere.

But neither has the Uruguayan’s obsession with bending the rules.

During the Brazilian clash, Suarez challenged for the ball with one of the Internacional defenders and ended up being swept off the floor.

During the game, the forward was sent flying after a tackle from Internacional’s Rene

However, there was no contact between the players, despite Suarez launching himself the floor.

The former Liverpool star then rolled across the pitch, looked up at the referee and demanded the player be shown a card.

Within seconds the official flashed Internacional’s Rene a yellow card – and Suarez was caught laughing from the ground.

Then shortly after in a clip that went viral, Suarez belted in a free-kick from the 35-yard mark reminding fans of his goal-striking talent.

One fan reacted and said the goal was “timeless”.

Another added: “Luis Suárez is still making it look easy.”

A third wrote: “He still got it.”

One of his generation’s top attackers is the Uruguayan international.

He played with Liverpool for four seasons, tallying 82 goals in 133 games.

Later, he moved from the Premier League to the powerhouse La Liga team Barcelona, where he amassed a staggering 198 goals in 283 games.

Before joining the Brazilian giants in January, Suarez also spent a brief time at Atletico Madrid and his old club Nacional.

Suarez, however, decided to terminate his contract with the club early and will complete his career at the end of the year.

The forward announced earlier this year that he is in “constant pain” as a result of his injury struggles, which prompted him to decide to leave the team.
