Enter ‘New Girl’ star Lamorne Morris’ stunning Tarzana mansion

Lamorne Morris paid $3.1 million for a brand-new house in the Tarzana neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley at the end of 2018. A little more than a year later, after adding his own unique touches to the modern Spanish-style home, he told People in a video tour that he planned to stay there “for quite some time.”

The comedian and actor, who is 38 years old and best known for his role as Winston on the long-running hit series “New Girl,” has changed his mind as of right now. He has now put the house on the market again for a much higher price of $5.4 million.

.

The asking price is about $2.8 million more than what Morris paid for the house originally, but he and his close friend Morgan Cleary did a lot of work on it while he was living there. In particular, he made the garden better by adding a basketball court and grass that doesn’t need much care and is good for the environment.

The big white stucco and terracotta-roofed building was built in 2018 and sits on a lot that’s almost half an acre and is hidden behind gates and tall hedges. A wide road leads to a two-car garage. There are five bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread out over two stories of 5,378 square feet of open-concept living space. A movie theater, an exercise center with a patio, and a home automation system with surround sound are just a few of the high-end features.

.

The living room has a coffered ceiling, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and is ready for friends and family to gather. It is reached through a double-height hallway. There is a family room, a dining room with a wet bar, and a glass wine cabinet that connect to a gourmet kitchen with two islands, high-end tools, and a breakfast nook with a window. Through Fleetwood sliding glass doors, the room turns into an eating area outside without any problems.

.

On the upper level, there is a den and a luxurious master suite with a balcony, walk-in closet, and marble-clad bathroom with dual vanities, a steam shower, a soaking tub, and a wood sauna box. The backyard looks like a resort, with a pool, spa, bar-equipped poolhouse, and lounge area with a fire pit. There is also a grill area and the basketball half-court we already talked about.
