In the San Fernando Valley, rapper Wiz Khalifa has put his three-year-old home on the market for $4.5 million in the hopes of getting a hit.
The listing doesn’t come as a surprise since last month, the Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist spent $7.62 million on a slightly bigger space a few miles away.
The Khalifa bought this one for $3.4 million in 2019, a year after it was built. The 5,875-square-foot house is said to have “transitional modern architecture,” and its appealing front is made of dark wood and white stucco.
Inside, there are clear lines, large rooms, and lots of glass in a two-story floor plan. The home has 25-foot ceilings throughout. The family room has a wine bar that holds 100 bottles, the chef’s kitchen has an island with a waterfall, and the entrance has two stories and a wood staircase that floats above the ground.
He also painted the six bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, study, living room, and theater room while he was there. In the backyard, he put a basketball court next to the guesthouse and some other fun things.
From the back of the house, a deck sticks out and gives you access to the patio, fire pit, pool, and spa on the quarter-acre property with views of the Santa Susana Mountains.
Bryan Capossela of Cap Equity Realty and Alan Taylor of Compass are the ones who have the offering.
Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, has put out six new albums since 2006. His first album was called “Show and Prove,” and his most recent album is called “Rolling Papers.” The number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 was “Black and Yellow,” and the movie “Furious 7” used “See You Again” as a theme song.
