On the other side, Tsimikas’s Greece will almost certainly stay in 3rd place and have to wait for the play off series.

Harvey Elliott claimed an assist and captained England U21s, who were undone by a goal deep into stoppage time in a 3-2 defeat by their Ukrɑine counterparts.

Trailing by two at half-time of an U21 European Championship qualifier played in Slovakia, the Young Lions came back to level the score just before the end, with Elliott’s cross creating the equaliser for Charlie Cresswell.
