The house Rihanna owned in the Hollywood Hills was on and off the market for several years, and it was also for rent during that time.
The Mediterranean-style home was first listed for just under $7.5 million in December 2018, and it was also available for rent at a steep $35,000 per month. It was eventually sold off-market to an unknown buyer for just under $6.6 million, which is about $250,000 less than what the seller paid for it five years ago, in the summer of 2017.
The modern building with a terracotta roof was built on-spec and finished in 2015 on a lot that was almost half an acre and was high above the busy Sunset Strip.
