The elegant Silver Edge is scheduled to launch in 2026, and its new owner will have a choice between two distinctly different interior styles.
The Silver Edge superyacht’s two appropriately sleek cabins were just presented by Silver Yachts.
The Australian yard debuted the 260-foot model at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show, and it has a sleek aluminum exterior that was designed by famous naval architect and designer Espen Øino. Not by the people of Ðino’s own studio, but rather by Pireddda & Partners, the new living quarters are just as exquisite.
Because they represent opposite extremities of the design spectrum, the two concepts serve distinct categories of mariners. The first, called White Sand (seen above), is situated where luxury and the natural world converge. The décor, which is described as “sophisticated and delicate,” combines large expanses of natural antique metal with rough stone and sandy wood. The spacious living and dining areas are at the heart of the well-designed, open-concept design. After dining and drinking, unwind on the deep built-in sofa that divides the two areas.
The Midnight decor (above), in sharp contrast, is gloomy and dark with a varied palette that highlights high-end products from all around the world. Once more, the arrangement features large, open areas as well as secluded areas for smaller get-togethers. A bronze wall, for example, divides the formal room from an informal cinema area in the TV lounge.
With four guest cabins, three VIP cabins, and a spacious owner’s suite featuring a private salon and en suite, Silver Edge can accommodate up to 18 guests in total. Moreover, there is lodging for 17 crew members.
The ship, which will be the fifth in the series and the seventh hull constructed by Silver, is anticipated to be launched in 2026. It is priced at roughly $75 million and is presently listed with Fraser.Nor is the exterior anything to sneeze at. There’s a large glass-bottomed pool, a winter garden for lounging, and a comfortable lounge on the main deck, and a Jacuzzi and outdoor eating space on the sundeck. Finally, there is a beach club, gym, dive center, and swim platform on the aft deck.
The yachting firm released a statement saying, “Fraser is very pleased with the new interior design and the synergy between Espen Øino International, Piredda & Partners, and Silver Yachts.” “This common vision produces an interior for the yacht that is incredibly beautiful to look at and extremely practical for the owner and guests.”
All that’s left to do is choose between Midnight and White Sand.
