But because Petra has so many other interesting places to see, like the Royal Tombs, the Theater, and the Monastery, you should plan to stay there for at least one full day.

Many people think that the Dolomites in Italy are one of the most beautiful mountain areas in the world. They cover more than 140,000 hectares and have 18 peaks that are higher than 3,000 meters. There are jagged peaks, beautiful views, green alpine lakes, and fairy tale towns in the Dolomites. You can also go on amazing hikes and eat delicious food.

You should visit the Dolomites as part of your trip through Northern Italy if you want to see why this area is thought to be one of the most beautiful in all of Italy. Because there isn’t a designated airport in the area, getting to the Dolomites can be frustrating. But it only takes a few hours to drive to bigger airports, such as those in Venice, Bergamo, Milan, and others.

You could spend weeks touring the area, but if you only have 5 days in the Dolomites, you will have enough time to see the most important sights, like Alpe di Siusi, the church of St. Maddalena in Val di Funes, and the Seceda ridgeline.

Going hiking at Tre Cime di Lavaredo is one of the best things to do in the Dolomites. You should also go hiking at Cadini di Misurina to find one of the best views in the area. If you’re not much of a walker, the Dolomites will still be amazing for you because there are so many other cool things to see and do!

Visit cute little towns like Ortisei or Cortina d’Ampezzo, which is one of the best places to stay in the Dolomites, or just sit at one of the restaurants and savor delicious Italian food while taking in the stunning views. There are some of the most beautiful lakes in the world in the Dolomites. For example, Lago di Carezza and the famous Lago di Braies can be found there.

Three of the most famous places to see New York City are the One World Observatory, the Empire State Building, and the Top of the Rock.
