Floyd Mayweather, Jr. | Biography & Facts | Britannica

Floyd Mayweather, the renowned boxing icon, has residences in Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, and now, Miami Beach. Recently, he made an $18 million investment in a magnificent waterfront property located on Palm Island, a man-made island situated in Biscayne Bay.

This acquisition comes approximately a year after he sold another Miami Beach property—a modern, box-shaped dwelling on a different island a few miles to the north in La Gorce.

This sleek three-story house boasts nearly 11,000 square feet of living space, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. The real highlight is the 5,000-square-foot rooftop deck, offering breathtaking views of the water and city skyline. Decks adorn the top two levels, overlooking a patio that features a pool, spa, and a private dock capable of accommodating a 100-foot boat.

In addition to its nine bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, this contemporary mansion dedicates ample space to various amenities, including a movie theater, gym, and game room. An elegant sweeping staircase and an elevator facilitate navigation throughout the home, leading up to the owner’s suite, adorned with hardwood floors and a luxurious spa-like bathroom.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather, one of the world’s wealthiest athletes, boasts a remarkable boxing record of 50-0, featuring lucrative pay-per-view victories over Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya, and Conor McGregor. Earlier this year, he came out of retirement for an exhibition bout against YouTube personality Logan Paul.

His Beverly Hills residence is even more expansive, sitting on half an acre and comprising a 15,000-square-foot mansion, guesthouse, and a 20-person theater. He purchased this estate for $25.5 million in 2017.

Dina Goldentayer and Ana Viyella of Douglas Elliman handled the listing, while Tanasha Pettigrew of Galleria International Realty represented Mayweather in the transaction, which was first reported by the Real Deal.
