MANCHESTER UNITED fans have begged David de Gea to return after he reunited with a former team-mate.
The goalkeeper posed for a snap with Bruno Fernandes as he continues his search for a new club.

Since leaving United when his contract ended in the summer, De Gea has been jobless.
In recent weeks, he has teased supporters with a potential comeback. He even visited United earlier this month to watch the women’s team play.
The Spaniard had returned to the city to declutter his residence, and while he was there, he even ran across current Red Devil Sergio Reguilon.
As a result of De Gea sharing a selfie with Fernandes in his most recent photo, his followers are once more asking for his recovery.
De Gea and Fernandes posted a photo on X, previously Twitter, wearing the uniform of their eSports team, Rebels Gaming.
De Gea founded the team in 2021, with Fernandes and Juan Mata later joining as shareholders.
Alongside the snap, De Gea wrote: “Together again.”
Supporters were quick to call for his return, with one commenting: “Get back to the team. We have many challenges ahead.”
Another added: “Manchester United needs you bro.”
A third fan also wrote: “Bring him back.”
Fernandes also shared a snap on Instagram of the pair catching up, alongside team-mates Tom Heaton, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof.
De Gea showed his love in the comments section, simply writing “Brothers”.
Since leaving United, De Gea has so far been unable to find a new team, and at only 32 years old, he has apparently even contemplated retiring.
He made 545 appearances and amassed eight significant trophies during his twelve years at Old Trafford, including a league title and the Europa League.
After departing Manchester United in the summer, De Gea is still an unsigned free agent.
