Ten Hag recognised his mistake and shook hands with Woods eventually

It kept alive Man Utd’s hopes of qualification out of their group following back-to-back defeats to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray at the beginning of their campaign.

And Ten Hag joined the TNT Sports crew after the crucial win.

At the end of the interview, he shook the hands of ex-Man Utd stars Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes.

However, the Dutchman disregarded presenter Woods in the process.

There was an awkward moment as Ten Hag turned to face Ferdinand and Scholes, while Woods giggled and stretched out her hand.

Then, before leaving, he made amends by shaking Woods’ hand.

However, Woods then claimed that she felt “double embarrassed” because the Man United coach had taken her microphone away so that he could interview HIMSELF for the post-game analysis.

After Ten Hag left, Woods admitted that she was “pied” completely while smiling away with Scholes and Ferdinand. “How weird was that? I don’t know what to do with my hands with no microphone, and then (Ten Hag) obviously pied me completely,” she said.

Later, Woods took to Instagram to share the clip of Ten Hag’s snub in her story and wrote: “Lived out my worst nightmare right there.”
