After two years, Taylor Lautner sold his semi-remote contemporary property in Agoura Hills for a $1.5 million price. The “Twilight” actor invested $3.9 million on a gated neighborhood near his previous home, where he built a hacienda-style property.
Surrounded by more than an acre of fruit trees, drought-tolerant flowers, and perennials, is Lautner’s new Agoura Hills residence. According to the advertisement, the early 1990s stucco and terracotta-roofed home was “remodeled to perfection.”
About 7,000 square feet of rustic yet elegant living space are filled with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, high ceilings, mosaic tiling, detailed wrought-iron details, and vintage light fixtures. A lifestyle of indoors and outdoors is facilitated by large glass doors and windows that overlook the gorgeous surroundings.
A spacious lobby featuring a winding staircase and a domed ceiling is accessible by a double wood front entrance with brick stairs decorated with mosaics. From there, a formal dining room with French doors leading to covered outdoor dining and party areas is connected to a double-height living room with a fireplace and a temperature-controlled wine room holding 750 bottles.
A gorgeous fireplace family room and garden are accessible from a modern gourmet kitchen including an eat-in island, Viking and Sub-Zero appliances, and a breakfast nook. The main level features a wood-clad office, an ensuite bedroom, and a laundry area complete with two washers and dryers.

Ten years ago, Lautner paid $2 million for a 10-acre home in Castaic, 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Lautner was represented by Jordan Cohen of Re/Max One, and the property was listed by Cris Epstein of Engel & Voelkers, Westlake Village.
