A MESS: Fans mocked Man Utd stars when they have complained their Adidas kit is too TIGHT and like replica

MANCHESTER UNITED stars have complained their adidas kit is too tight as their shambolic season finds news lows.

According to The Mail, some United players are so dissatisfied with their kit manufacturers that they have been wearing replica items instead.

Some of the Red Devils’ aces have not worn the official socks since the second game of the season at Tottenham in August.

Andre Onana has had issues with his jersey as he had been wearing the shirt specifically designed for players with a closer fit than those made available to fans.

However, the summer signing found it too tight and has now switched to a looser replica version.

The Manchester giants’ 2-1 victory over Sheffield United two weeks ago was the final straw for the goalkeeper.

Bizarrely, United’s No1 last season David de Gea complained his kit was too BAGGY.

However, Onana has a larger frame than his predecessor and it appears the adjustments made with De Gea in mind have backfired.

Other United players have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the socks as they find them too tight on their calves.

Some cut holes in the back of their socks but the club ultimately switched to fan-issue socks as a temporary solution.

Adidas and the team declined to speak to the Daily Mail on the circumstances, but it is believed that the apparel manufacturer is investigating a fix.

Nonetheless, after a tumultuous season that has seen Erik ten Hag’s team drop to eighth place in the Premier League standings, United supporters are incensed about the most recent incident.

One fan tweeted: “Holy, our club is a mess.”

Another commented: “We’ve already blamed VAR. The refs. The injuries. The schedule. The owners. The stadium. Only thing left was the kit and well… Here we are.”

A third posted: “What a disaster of a club from top to socks.”

This fan said: “We have become a joke club. What is this am I reading!!”

And that one wrote: “We should start keeping some news to ourselves. This club is highly embarrassing.”
