NBA star Mo Bamba, who was just moved from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers, is wrapping up his business in Florida. His Orlando penthouse is currently listed for $2.879M on the market.
Mr. Bamba, then 24 years old, purchased the downtown Orlando penthouse for about $1.7M in 2018, just two months after being drafted by the Magic in the 2018 NBA draft. His agent, Erin Wanner of Stockworth Realty Group, and the property records both corroborated these details.
The agent in charge of the sale, Erin Wanner, has said, “This penthouse stands out as a unique and spectacular residence in the Orlando market. Mo’s investment in this unit, which he worked on for over two years, demonstrates his foresight.
“He effectively rejuvenated the area with lavish top-tier details and cutting-edge technologies. She said, “His taste is impeccable, and whoever moves into this penthouse next will be very lucky.”
Ted Maines Interiors conceived of the home, which contains bespoke wall coverings by Phillip Jefferies, Tom Dixon lighting, and cutting-edge smart home technologies and acoustics by firms such as Crestron, Sonance, and Vicoustic. In addition to the marble floors, walls, and counters, Ms. Wanner praised the English oak and exotic wood flooring.

The penthouse has three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a formal living room with built-in seating, a family room with a 110-inch projector screen, a formal dining area, and a chef’s kitchen, and it spans more than 4,800 square feet.
According to the description, the house also features a large wraparound patio with views of the cityscape.
The 2005-completed condominium complex enjoys a prime location only steps from Lake Eola, Thornton Park, and several entertainment, dining, and shopping venues. You may take advantage of the 24-hour security and concierge services, as well as the heated pool and spa.
Mr. Bamba, who is unavailable for comment, played in his first professional game on October 17, 2018, and helped the Magic beat the Miami Heat 104-101. He was traded to the Lakers from the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets earlier this month as part of a four-team deal.
