DJ Khaled has decided that his family is more important than his fame and fan base.

The music producer felt reborn after the birth of his first son Asahd, now 612 years old; he recalled that this was exactly what JAY-Z had promised.

“It’s all for them,” Khaled, 47, told Variety in an interview published on Wednesday for a cover story. Everything: where we live, what we drive, the timepieces we wear, the music we listen to,… “Wait till you have a kid — that’s when life really starts,” JAY-Z told me.
