Through MUTV, coach Erik ten Hag named players who can play the leading role of the Red Devils.
Despite a poor start to the season, Erik ten Hag’s side are still moving closer to the top 4 after a 1-0 win over Luton Town. Man United’s playing style has not yet been shaped, but at least, they are overcoming difficulties with the injury situation of many pillars.
When asked if Man United has anyone with enough personality to step up to replace Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez, Ten Hag said: “Sure, we have players who can do that.
“You mentioned Raphael Varane, but I will mention Andre Onana, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, who have shown leadership qualities in such moments. And of course Bruno Fernandes.
“We have enough players with character to stand up and lead the team. Casemiro and Martinez are not in the squad, so others have to step up to take their place.”

The Red Devils will return to action after the international break when they face Everton at Goodison Park. Winning again is the only goal that Ten Hag sets for its students to get close to the top 4.
