Two months after Kim Kardashian put the marital home in her name alone, Kanye West bought a one-story house directly across the street, as reported by The Post.
He paid $4.5 million for the modest five-bedroom, four-bathroom home, which is $421,000 more than what the seller had asked.
The five-bedroom, four-bathroom Hidden Hills mansion was listed for sale on December 1 for the first time in 67 years. The asking price was $4.079 mlln.
West, 44, apparently used the limited liability company Spruce Blue Trust to close on the home on December 20.
A source told The Post that the “Donda” singer wanted to “get his family back together,” but that the ex-wife’s children would be living in the residence.
The source claims, “it’s just basic logistics so that he is close to his children and has access to them at the drop of a hat.”
The Kardashian-West family may need to make some adjustments to their lifestyle because their new home is so different from their old one.
Located on more than an acre of property, the modest home is more than 3,600 square feet in size and has a ranch for horses.
Inside, you’ll find worn wood paneling, cabinets, and fluffy beige carpets.
Among the facilities are a pool and a horse corral, and there is also a family area with a fireplace and sliding doors leading outside. A two-car attached garage with a guest apartment and a pathway leading to a three-stall barn are also advertised features of the home. The barn contains a tack room and hay storage spaces that are adjacent to a huge horse paddock.
The same family has owned and scrupulously maintained this 1955 building since it was first occupied.
Both the kitchen (remodeled in 2005) and the front lawn (recently covered with drought-resistant AstroTurf) have seen recent updates.
