After the online voting, AS Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin and teammate Warren Zaïre-Emery emerged victorious. Kylian Mbappé was the winner. The France international wins this title for the tenth time in his career, following in the footsteps of Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, who won it in September. A record for the vice captain of Paris, who now holds an advantage over players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic (5), Eden Hazard (4), Franck Ribéry (4), and even a certain Javier Pastore (4).

From the award’s inception at the beginning of the 2003–2004 season, this is the 47th time a Paris Saint-Germain player has received it. The capital club has increased its advantage over LOSC (18), Olympique de Marseille (24), and Olympique Lyonnais (18). Kylian Mbappé proved his value in the Rouge et Bleu team during October, making an average of at least one difference in every game in just three Ligue 1 matches with three goals and one assist.
