Rick Ross’s most recent music video might have been a commercial for Jacob & Co. The Boss showcased the American jeweler’s bling, estimated to be worth $10 million, in the official music video for “Shaq & Kobe,” a new song he co-wrote with fellow rapper Meek Mill.
In one shot, Ross raps in front of his own Gulfstream G550 plane while wearing an iced-out Mystery Tourbillon on his wrist. This watch is at least 33.65 carats in diameter and took more than a year to make. The exquisite dial features interlocking hexagonal hues, and the 50 mm white gold case delicately features baguette accents. A few rubies and sapphires are also put into the face for good measure. This magnificent sculpture is restricted to just 13 pieces and costs $1.3 million.
At another event, the rapper flaunts his Billionaire III even more. Unveiled in late 2022, the gaudy wrist candy is nearly entirely encrusted with over 129 carats of diamonds, which accentuate the 18-karat white gold. Just the bracelet has 504 hand-set white stones with emerald cuts. At a staggering $3 million, the watch is limited to only eighteen pieces.
In the video, the renowned hip-hop performer also wore a few gaudy Jacob & Co. pieces, including a $640,000 gem-encrusted pinky ring and a bespoke diamond-studded tennis necklace said to be worth $4.2 million.
Ross regularly flaunts his pricey items on social media, including striking cars and an enormous 10-pound crab (yes, you read that right). He recently showed off his clear interest for showing off his collection of Jacob & Co. timepieces by donning the astounding $20 million Billionaire Timeless Treasure.
The rarity was revealed this past March at Watches & Wonders, and it took three and a half years to come to pass since the watchmakers had to find enough yellow diamonds of the same grade and hue to adorn the gold bracelet. Jacob & Co. even claims that in order to complete the design, the market for these incredibly rare stones nearly “dried up.” It’s strange that Ross didn’t look well in this Timeless Treasure music video. Perhaps he didn’t want to be the focal point.
