To be able to grow our own food in our homes, I believe we need homes with zero emission architecture and self-sufficient energy production, along with home automation and agroecology.
The following are some potential traits of the future house:
Automation: A completely automated home may enable its occupants to regulate and plan their heating, cooling, and lighting systems from the comfort of their smartphone or tablet.
Renewable energy: In order to produce their own electricity and lessen their reliance on polluting energy sources, future homes must be equipped with renewable energy technology like solar panels, wind turbines, or geothermal systems.
Energy efficiency: Future homes need to be built with the greatest amount of energy efficiency in mind. This includes double-glazed windows, effective ventilation systems, energy-efficient appliances, and adequate insulation.
Connectivity: Future homes may be built with a high degree of connectivity that enables the integration of several gadgets. Residents would be able to access and manage their smart home systems at any time and from any location.
Sustainability: Future homes must be constructed from recyclable and sustainable materials and designed to have as little of an impact on the environment as possible.
