Ethan Santos and Aymen Mouelhi scored own goals in the first five minutes to put Didier Deschamps’ team ahead 2-0. Soon after, Warren Zaire-Emery scored his first goal.

The 17-year-old was fouled as he shot at goal, and Santos was sent off for it after VAR looked at it. As the half ended, Kylian Mbappe, Jonathan Clauss, Kingsley Coman, and replacement Youssouf Fofana all scored, adding to the attack.

For more than 15 minutes in the second half, Adrien Rabiot stopped the bleeding. With 25 minutes left, Coman scored his second goal. Ousmane Dembele, a substitute, scored a great goal on his own, and Mbappe scored two goals to move into third place on France’s all-time list of scorers.

The leader then scored his hat trick by chipping the goalie from 40 yards out, making the score 12-0. Olivier Giroud scored the 13th goal with a rocket one minute left, and then he scored another with a clever bicycle kick to help France beat San Marino 13-0 and get the biggest win in the history of European Championship qualifying.
