‘Like h way he used his money’: Take a look at Snoop Dogg’s orange classic car

Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg, well-known for his music and love of vintage cars, has expanded his impressive collection to include a 1970 Buick Skylark from Gulfport, Mississippi. Snoop Dogg was able to recognize and acquire ownership of the Skylark due to his passion for classic automobiles.

Before bringing it home, he messaged Spokes-N-Vogues, a vehicle customizer in Huntsville, Alabama, on Instagram, requesting a unique design. “Snoop contacted me after learning about that vehicle in Mississippi,” Lee Adams of Spokes-N-Vogues disclosed. His family comes from Mississippi altogether. This whole issue is affecting the states in the deep south.

To ensure the car met the highest standards of excellence, Spokes-N-Vogues and Madison, Alabama-based Barnes Signs worked together. Barnes Signs wrapped the trunk of the Skylark in a bright tangerine orange chrome wrap and added the neon title of Snoop Dogg’s 1998 album, “Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told.”

It took about a year and a half to customize the Skylark to the extent that was needed. In addition to the chrome wrap, the car received an interior and mechanical upgrade. For Lee Adams, this project is an opportunity that comes only once in a lifetime. To receive the most recent Mississippi news updates, sign up for our free email.
