The Rock’s Dazzling Fleet: Exploring His Top 5 Supercars Valued at 5% of His Fortune

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the Arnold Schwarzenegger of our generation. Johnson is almost everywhere, from his humble beginnings in the WWE wrestling arena to presenting a reality-TV sports competition called “The Titan Games,” launching a pre-mix tequila brand, co-owning the XFL, and of course, his countless action figures.

The Collection of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Top 5 Most Expensive Vehicles

1The charismatic A-lister amasses more than $20 million in earnings for each of his children and possesses an incredible array of automobilia. Australian GQ claims that Johnson has a number of extremely unusual exotic vehicles, such as custom Ford F-150s, a Hennessey VelociRaptor, a Plymouth Prowler, and a Cheyenne SS.

Although the number of cars Johnson owns is unknown, rumors indicate he has owned at least a dozen expensive vehicles at some point. Nevertheless, it makes sense given that he starred as Luke Hō̄s in two of the Fast & Furious movies. Because of this, he has not only amassed his own collection of automobiles but has also sponsored a handful of them.

Ferrari Aventador

Shutterstock/Massimiliano CappanariYou know you’re looking at one hell of an expensive automobile when you begin a list of the “most expensive” cars with one that has an MSRP of almost half a million dollars, including a Lamborghini Aventador. Given that Johnson posted a picture of himself getting out of a 2015 S Roadster on Twitter in April 2015—just before the HBO show “Ballers” premiered—it’s possible that he has one.

This car’s MSRP is approximately $453,000, but it also comes with a long list of optional custom features.

This sharp, scissor-door, seven-speed automated manual transmission rocket car has a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces roughly 700 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 509 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm. It can go from a standstill to sixty miles per hour in 2.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 217 mph.

Although the Aventador has a few fuel-saving technologies, such as shutting down half of the engine’s cylinders at slower speeds and turning the car off and back on at stoplights, it’s not the best in terms of gas mileage—11 city and 18 highway.

GTV Ford

shutterstock/anderWolf ImagesNext up is Ford’s incredible GT. Johnson’s is by all accounts a 2017 medal winner—there were only 138 medal winners in that year. It makes sense that the automaker would want Johnson to drive one of these legends as Johnson is an ambassador for Ford Ser\ice.

The GT’s initial MSRP was $453,750, but its average sales value is currently estimated to be close to $1.1 million.

According to Ford, this mid-engine, rear-wheel drive supercar with scissor doors is built from a “carĄon fīer monocoque with an integrated steel roll cage.” It features a twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine with 647 horsepower. A Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is mated to that engine. It was the strongest EcoBoost engine Ford had ever built at the time. During the test drive, Car and Driver discovered that the GT reaches 60 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 216 mph.

McLaren P1

GQ Australia claims that Johnson is the owner of a McLaren P1, which ups the ante with an original MSRP of $1.15 million. Despite being a “spiritual successor to the 1995 F1,” the McLaren P1 was only produced from 2013 to 2015. Only 375 were produced in that time frame, making it a very uncommon stamp.

According to McLaren, “the cockpit sits right in the middle of the bodywork, which is shrink-wrapped as tightly as possible over the mechanical hard points of the car.” In other words, it is incredibly aerodynamic.

The P1 boasts a 132 kW electric motor and a 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbocharged mid-engine. This hybrid car produces 664 lŠ.-ft. of torque and 903 horsepower. It can go from zero to sixty-two miles per hour in 2.8 seconds at its maximum speed of 217 mph.

It can be driven in an electric vehicle (EV) and has a range of 19 miles, despite its fast charging speed. Adjustable front and rear wings allow the RaceActie Chassis Control to channel up to 600 pounds of downforce as the road conditions vary. Additionally, the P1 shares a double the strength of titanium monocoque with the Ford GT.

LaFerrari Ferrari

According to the GQ Australia story, Johnson is a LaFerrari owner. Though Johnson claims there are fewer than 25 matte white Ferraris in the world, making his even rarer, it would still be one of only 499 built-by Ferraris, making it a rare prancing horse.

He went on to say that he got to “adмire, touch and play with” a car that had a street value of $3 to $5 million during the filming of “Ballers.” Sadly, there was one “small” hitch: he couldn’t fit inside, which was undoubtedly a problem he experienced with a number of his previous supercars.

However, some sources claim that he no longer owns the “Definitiϋe Ferrari” and that the vehicle was only leased for a long time; after that, he chose not to hold onto anything that he couldn’t drive. The day following the LeFerrari photo, he shared another one in which he was standing next to a GTA Spano. He said that his character, Baller, couldn’t fit inside, but he still made sure the car was shown in the program. Even though this could seem like a publicity gimmick, we’ll put the LaFerrari on the list.

The 6.3-liter F140 V12 engine in the LaFerrari produces 516 lb-ft of torque and 789 horsepower. It has 950 horsepower and 664 torque in total. The last car the company produced with a mid-engine V12 was the LaFerrari. With its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and carbon fiber monocoque, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph.

Huayra Pagani

Lastly, we get to the most expensive vehicle ever made by Johnson: the $2.55 million Pagani Huayra. Considering that every picture of him driving this hypercar revolves on the promotion of his HBO series “Ballers,” I thought it would be interesting to find out if he truly owns it.

According to a July 2016 Maxiм article, Brett Daʋid of Prestige Imports in Miami drove Johnson to the show’s second season premiere in a black convertible Fiat Huayra with red highlights. To be clear, it was not Daʲid’s but rather Johnson’s Huayra. Johnson tweeted in January 2017 that the third season of the show would premiere later that year. The message featured a picture of Johnson wearing a suit and standing in front of a dark-colored Pagani Huayra.

Johnson’s photo of the gull-wing Huayra may be a 2015 model. If this is the case, it would include active aerodynamics and a body made of a special blend of carbon fiber and titanium. With a maximum speed of 230 mph, it is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG naturally aspirated V12 mid-mounted engine that produces 720 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque.

There is no evidence to support the claim that the dark-colored Huayra featured on HotCars is the one parked in his garage, nor are there any other pictures that show him entering and exiting the vehicle. On the other hand, numerous images feature Johnson driving his Rolls Royce Wraith or Plymouth Prowler. Whatever the case, it will remain on the list for the time being.
