Sitting at home contemplating the greatest vacation spots? I know we are. We fantasize of South Pacific vacations, safaris in Africa, and road trips to Alaska every day.

Our dream destinations if we could travel anywhere tomorrow. Some we’ve been to, and some are still bucket list locations. I hope it motivates you to arrange a visit to these ideal destinations!

The Yukon

The Yukon is one of Canada’s most beautiful and North America’s dream destinations. The vast, hilly, and sparsely populated Yukon located in northwest Canada.

It has huge wilderness areas with bears, moose, caribou, and wolves. We had an amazing road trip there last summer and plan to return soon because it’s my favorite destination near to home.

If you prefer remote Gold Rush communities and stunning scenery, visit the Yukon. Driving the picturesque Top of the World Highway into Alaska is an option.

If you like mountains, wilderness, and solitude, visit northern Canada.

African Safari

Due to their proximity, many North Americans visit the Caribbean or Europe. Australians may choose Southeast Asia for the perfect vacation for similar reasons. Great continents!

I think an African safari would be our dream location. Africa is often overlooked but offers remarkable experiences. We appreciate safaris after traveling Africa for nearly a year.

Watching a large male lion cross the savannah or sleeping to wild dogs howling is unmatched.

Greek Islands

Please invite me back to Greece whenever, whenever, and I will gladly accept. Over 100 inhabited islands await exploration in Greece. Greece has an island for every budget and dream trip.

Ancient Greek islands include beautiful beaches, attractive seaside towns, wonderful food, and rich culture. Speaking about that culture, the Greeks are among the most welcoming and proud. Romance thrives across this lovely nation.

Greece is another affordable ideal vacation destination besides Mykonos and Santorini. Our favorite spots were Corfu, Ithaka, Milos, Paros, and Naxos! Where else can you stay by the sea for under $60 a night and eat all the olives and tzatziki you want?

Peru

Peru is one of my dream destinations. This bizarre biodiverse country has it all: the Amazon’s damp rainforest, the Andes’ soaring peaks and mysterious history, bustling cities, and a surfer-friendly coastline.

Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail, and ancient civilizations are also available. Peru is one of the most popular locations since it has so much to offer travelers.

Banff National Park

I must include some North American dream locations. So could be Banff National Park, our wonderful backyard.

The Canadian Rockies are ideal for that dream wilderness getaway. Nothing compares to Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. You’ve probably seen mountains, but Alberta’s are more visible. Every time we leave our door, we know we’re a fantasy destination.

Adventure, mountains, bears, and hiking make Banff the perfect location.
