And Erik ten Hag could now call for help from Rasmus Hojlund and Antony after the pair joined in training on Tuesday.

Hojlund is the top-joint scorer in the competition with Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata after netting five times in four matches.

He could be joined in the starting XI against Galatasaray by Antony.

He too missed the Everton game with a knock.

The United boss still has several key men missing

Marcus Rashford also impressed while playing on the right wing, and Ten Hag will be reluctant to shake things up too much.

After demonstrating their significance to Ten Hag this term, stars like Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, and Bruno Fernandes all trained on Tuesday.

However, until the new year, the Dutchman will remain without Christian Eriksen and Casemiro, his midfield tandem.

For tomorrow’s crucial game, Mason Mount and Lisandro Martinez are still absent.

And Kobbie Mainoo will also be hoping to keep his place in the side after an excellent performance against the Toffees.
