Explore our Raja Ampat overwater bungalows! They blend the ease of contemporary design components with the traditional charm of Papua New Guinea. We made them out of natural, regional materials that we collected from neighboring communities. For example, Daun Bobo is used to build the walls, and Daun Nipa is used to make the roofing. The door and window frames, as well as the floors, are made of iron wood. These are the materials that Papuans typically utilize for construction.
Our 15 Papua Explorers overwater bungalows were first constructed as a group project. We immediately commissioned it for a number of homes in our neighborhood as a consequence. Consequently, a greater number of people inside the community benefited from the revenue. Two village apprentices and one trade professional were appointed by each department. The success rate of the model was high. As a result, a large number of our senior workers were once fishermen but are now employed in a variety of sustainable professions and crafts at far higher incomes.
