Beyoncé and Jay-Z splurge on an extravagant $200 million mansion, securing the title for California’s priciest home purchase

Beyoncé and Jay-Z broke a brand-new record. The well-known pair just bought a brand-new, lavish home in Malibu. The $200 million house in California is the creation of Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who is currently working on Kanye West’s future residence.

The mansion is also the second most expensive in the country; a $238 million apartment in New York City is the most expensive home in the country. The couple received a great deal on their current 30,000 square foot, all-concrete mansion, which was originally listed for $295 million.

The previous owner, William Bell, is recognized as one of the world’s largest art collectors and spent 15 years constructing the house. Bell reportedly asked for a $100 million loan to build the 8-acre estate in the Paradise Cove neighborhood, which included a concrete pool and a view of the Pacific Ocean.

The power couple’s first Malibu purchase was a $88 million mansion they purchased in Bel-Air back in 2017. Beyoncé is launching a new hair care line and establishing a new business while on her successful world tour.

At one of the shows, Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy were recently spotted. The well-known singer’s amazing performance was cheered on by the pair.
