Steph Curry, the point guard for the Golden Warriors, moved into a more opulent home in Atherton, California, a few months before he sold his “dream home” to a Singaporean billionaire in October of last year.
The 34-year-old Ohioan and his 33-year-old TV personality/entrepreneur wife Ayesha spent $30 million for their lavish modern home in December 2020.
Situated on almost two acres of level land, the U-shaped stucco and glass building boasts seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, all hidden behind walls and a gated driveway. Compared to the couple’s second 7,500-square-foot Atherton house, it is substantially larger.
The three-story house boasts a sizable motorcourt, a grand entry, and a two-story atrium with a glass roof, floor to ceiling pocketing glass doors, and a chandelier. Highlights from there include elegant dining and living areas, a gourmet kitchen complete with an eat-in island, and premium stainless steel appliances. There are further glass doors that lead to the outside in the dining area next to the family room with the fireplace.
The luxurious retreat features a movie theater, full bar, wine cellar, marble bathroom with soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower, and fireplace. There are many outside areas for entertainment and relaxing, together with a pool, sundeck, cabana, and well-kept lawn on the Studio Green-landscaped property.
Rob King, executive editor-at-large for ESPN, called Curry “one of the brightest stars in the sports constellation.” Curry leads the NBA in 3-pointers made all time and is the sixth-highest paid athlete globally, taking home $86.2 million per Sportico. Ayesha is well-known for her cookware brand and Food Network program, “Ayesha’s Home Kitchen.”
In addition to their Atherton house, the Curry family purchased a $2.1 million Winter Park vacation home in Orlando this summer.
