In a nail-biting match at Anfield, Liverpool prevailed against Fulham despite leaving it late.

Even though Alexis Mac Allister scored a beautiful long-range goal, the Reds wasted two opportunities to extend their lead, with the Irishman missing a stoppage-time chance to deny Kenny Tete.

The hosts took the lead when a superb free kick by Trent Alexander-Arnold found Bernd Leno for his second consecutive goal. However, Harry Wilson scored against his previous team before Mac Allister scored.
